Your Instructor - Kate Campbell

I'm Kate Campbell, mum of 2, Personal Trainer, antenatal and postnatal exercise specialist, with over 20 years midwifery experience in both hospital and community settings.

Specialising in teaching Antenatal and Postnatal exercises, I hold the Central YMCA qualification in Exercise to Music, Level 3 Certificate in Instructing Physical Activity for Ante/Postnatal clients and Level 3 Personal Trainer.

With my knowledge and experience in pregnancy and the early postnatal period (as both midwife and mum), my classes guarantee that you will exercise safely throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born.

My interest in teaching started when I was pregnant with my second daughter Lucy.  Wanting to remain fit during my pregnancy, get back into shape and feel more energised and fitter to look after a toddler afterwards, I researched a suitable class in my area and found none. So I decided to study and qualify with the sole aim of delivering antenatal and postnatal exercise classes that provide a fun, safe and effective opportunity for the many women in Sheffield, who like me, enjoy the buzz of exercise and want to continue to do so during pregnancy and following the birth of their babies.

Furthermore, I am committed to my continuous professional development. As such I ensure that my skills and knowledge are current, relevant and up-to-date, ensuring my class members benefit from my ongoing study.
