Suitable for beginners and those who have exercised before, you can attend with your baby from 6 weeks following a normal delivery or 8-10 weeks after a caesarean - ideally after your GP check-up.

Babies are welcome, please keep them in the same routine as at home - trying to keep them awake in the hope that they will sleep during the class may not work. Babies are usually happy to watch and listen to the music!
There will be play mats, baby rockers and a play pen available, but please bring a car seat or pram.
- 15-20 minutes of cardiovascular aerobic exercise will improve your fitness and help you lose weight.
- 25 minutes of conditioning exercises concentrating on strengthening the abdominals, lower back and pelvic floor muscles.
- 15 minutes of stretching and postural awareness will help with everyday mobility, preventing stiffness aches and pains.
At the end of the session, there is the opportunity for refreshments and an informal chat about relevant topics with other mums. This is your time and it's a great way to meet other mums and share the highs and lows of parenthood. Contact details are exchanged for you to keep in contact with each other outside the class.

Once you have finished the course you are then able to attend the KMF follow-on fitness classes which offers you the chance to build on your fitness and progress the exercises we have already done. See what fantastic results you can achieve when you safely push yourself that little bit more!
The Postnatal course runs for 6 weeks and payment (for the full course) is required in advance to secure your booking. Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be carried over unless previously agreed with me or in the case of unforeseen circumstances.
